"Your Father Wants You in Heaven"
On the 14th anniversary of Pastor Jeff Cox’s homegoing, we share this short message preached on Father’s Day in 2011. In “Your Father Wants You in Heaven,” Pastor Cox speaks the most important desire a father could have for his children, that they know Christ and have the assurance of a home in heaven.
If Pastor Cox could share one desire with you, the listener, today, it would be this: that you would be certain of your salvation and your eternal home with the Lord. This simple message points to the hope of the gospel and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

"Grace" - Titus 2:11-14
In this uplifting sermon, Pastor Jeff Cox magnifies the amazing grace of God. Grace not only saves us from sin—it transforms the way we live. Pastor Cox shows that the same grace that brings salvation also strengthens, teaches, and enables believers to live for the glory of God each day. This message reminds us that the Christian life is not lived in our own strength, but through God’s sustaining grace working in us and through us.

A Good Family Gone Bad

“A Good Family Gone Bad” – Genesis 19:1–20
In this sobering sermon from Genesis 19, Pastor Jeff Cox addresses the all-important issue of the family. Lot’s life stands as a powerful warning of what happens when priorities slowly shift away from God and toward the world.
Pastor Cox asks a searching question: in our homes, do we—like Lot—allow the surrounding culture to so influence our families that even when we are removed from Sodom, Sodom is never removed from the hearts of our children? Lot had opportunities to teach his wife and children the ways of the Lord, yet instead they were shaped by the values of Sodom, with eternal consequences.
While it may be easy to stand in judgment of Lot, Pastor Cox reminds us that we are blessed not to have our sins and their results recorded for all to read. The story of Lot’s family serves as a warning for every home. This sermon calls parents and spouses to honest evaluation: your walk with God, your priorities, and the influences shaping your family. Are your children being indoctrinated by the culture of Sodom—or are they being taught the ways of God?

The Spirit-Filled Home

"The Spirit-Filled Home" – Ephesians 5:15–21
In this practical and challenging sermon from Ephesians 5:15–21, Pastor Jeff Cox calls believers to order every part of life for the glory of God—especially the home. He teaches that a Spirit-filled life produces a Spirit-filled family, marked by obedience to God’s clear and sometimes difficult commands. Pastor Cox addresses loving leadership in the home, willing submission, and the importance of holiness in daily living.
This message challenges families to remove influences that hinder spiritual growth and to intentionally fill their homes with what honors Christ, including godly music and Christ-centered priorities. Pastor Cox also reminds listeners that a strong marriage begins with a genuine relationship with Christ. You are not ready for a spouse until you are walking with Him. This sermon is a timely call to build homes that reflect the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

"Are You Led By the Spirit?" – Romans 8:14
In this searching sermon from Romans 8:14, Pastor Jeff Cox challenges believers to honestly examine their walk with God. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Pastor Cox offers a practical and convicting test: if you want to know whether you are led by the Spirit, look at where you have been—and where you are going. This message calls Christians to reflect on their direction, desires, and obedience, urging a life that is clearly guided by the Holy Spirit and marked by spiritual growth.

"Wandering in the Wilderness Because of the Disbelief of Others" – Numbers 13:1–20
In this sermon from Numbers 13:1–20, Pastor Jeff Cox examines the cost of unbelief and how the disbelief of others can affect even the strongest believers. As Israel stood on the edge of the Promised Land, fear and doubt prevailed—and the nation was sentenced to wander. Pastor Cox reminds us that even Moses, one of the greatest men of faith, endured deep discouragement because of the unbelief around him. This message challenges us to guard our own faith, remain confident in God’s promises, and stay faithful even when others choose fear over trust.

The Blessedness of Fatness

"The Blessedness of Fatness"
In this memorable and thought-provoking sermon, Pastor Jeff Cox explores a biblical truth that often runs contrary to modern thinking. “The Blessedness of Fatness” is not about physical excess, but about spiritual fullness—being richly supplied, satisfied, and strengthened by the Lord. Pastor Cox challenges believers to desire more than survival Christianity and instead pursue a life that is full of God’s presence, blessing, and provision.

A Tale of Two Wives

Monday Dec 22, 2025

Monday Dec 22, 2025

"A Tale of Two Wives" – Leviticus 10:10; Exodus 11:7
In this thought-provoking sermon, Pastor Jeff Cox compares two women from Scripture who both experienced devastating loss and had knowledge of God: the wife of Lot and the wife of Job. Though their circumstances shared similarities, their endings could not have been more different. Lot’s wife looked back and was lost, while Job’s wife, though pushed to the brink by witnessing her husband’s intense affliction, remained.
Pastor Cox exposes the twin goals of Satan—to destroy the soul and to provoke denial of God—and shows how suffering becomes a battlefield for faith. The defining difference between these two women was not their trials, but their husbands and the spiritual leadership present in their homes.
In the end, Job’s story concludes with restoration—his wife by his side and a renewed family—while Lot’s tragic account ends in loss and brokenness. This sermon challenges listeners to discern between the holy and the profane, to remain steadfast in trial, and to recognize the vital influence of godly leadership in the home and in the midst of suffering.

"The Blessedness of Brokenness" – Job 2:7-8
In this tender and deeply moving sermon from Job 2, Pastor Jeff Cox reflects on one of Scripture’s most difficult themes: the blessing God brings through brokenness. Drawing from Job’s suffering—where even a piece of broken pottery brought a measure of comfort—Pastor Cox reminds us that God often uses what is shattered to accomplish His greatest work.
He points to the broken bread Jesus used to feed the multitudes, showing that God does not discard the fragments of our lives; He multiplies them.
This sermon reminds us that Jesus Himself was broken for us—and that God uses our brokenness to bless others, deepen our dependence on Him, and reveal His sufficiency.

The Judgment Seat of Christ

Monday Dec 08, 2025

Monday Dec 08, 2025

"The Judgment Seat of Christ" – Romans 14
In this sobering and motivating sermon from Romans 14, Pastor Jeff Cox turns our attention to the reality that every believer will one day stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ. With clarity and urgency, he reminds us that this judgment is not about salvation, but about accountability—giving an answer for how we lived, served, and stewarded the opportunities God gave us. Pastor Cox challenges Christians to live with eternity in view, to pursue holiness, and to make their lives count for Christ. This message calls us to faithful living now in light of the day when we will stand before our Lord and give account.
